It took about 24 hours of time in airports and planes, but I finally landed at DFW around 1:00 in the morning on Wednesday.
There’s not much to report other than that. Things went very smoothly—even a bit ahead of schedule into and out of Vancouver. Denver, however, had a run-in with some unfriendly weather a few hours before my flight arrived, so I spent several hours more in DIA’s B terminal than I originally planned. But we eventually made it off the ground, and by some small miracle both pieces of checked luggage made it through (and they were in the first batch).
I plan on writing another entry or two on readjusting to life back in the U.S. (everyone’s so tall here!), and after that I’ll officially bring this blog to a close. Along the way I’ll try to add some sort of index so it’s easier to browse through the 100+ articles.
